From the Pastor's Desk

Daniel Chamberlin, pastor

Dear Friend,

We are glad you have found us! We have been looking for you! Let me be the first to invite you to visit our church, so we can become personally acquainted.

Of course, attending church is not an end in itself. It is a means of worshiping God - and that is the end for which we were created.

Since 1990, I have had the privilege of serving as Pastor here at Covenant. The Lord has brought together a small but cohesive and serious-minded group of people. Some travel long distances to come. Our clearly defined doctrinal positions set us apart from most other churches. We hold to the historic Baptist Confessions of Faith, such as the 1689 London Confession. We further desire that our holiness of life would set us apart from this present evil world.

When you come, you will find that preaching is primary. Our motto on our seal is taken from 1Corinthians 1:23, We preach Christ crucified. We make no attempt at entertainment. The presence of God is what thrills us! We are saddened to see so many today starving on a diet of spiritual cotton candy, when they could be thriving on a diet rich in the milk and meat of the truth.

We are eager to help you in your knowledge of the Scripture and your walk with the Savior. I would be delighted to hear from you.

By all means,

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near (Isa. 55:6).

May God bless you,

Daniel Chamberlin
